Girona Provincial Council contacted us because it needed to reorganise its social media presence. The objective of the project was to analyse the initial situation by studying all the channels that had been opened by the various bodies of the provincial council. The channels were analysed from a quantitative perspective (followers, update frequency, engagement) and a qualitative perspective, which involved specific interviews with the people responsible for their management.
Once the analysis phase was completed, we prepared a strategic plan in which we presented the provincial council’s communication and branding objectives, the definitive social media structure proposal (which channels and profiles were to be maintained and which were to be removed) and a series of recommendations and best practices with a view to designing a strategic profile optimisation framework.
The strategic plan was completed with an operational plan that deployed the editorial plan, a technical and human resources map, the necessary tools to optimise activity and examples of actions.
