CosmoCaixa (“la Caixa” Foundation) wanted to implement the digital version of its ‘Explícame la ciencia’ competition for young people aged 14 to 23. In response to this request the LaMagnética team developed a website in WordPress to publicise the competition and encourage participation.
We also implemented the project’s digital strategy: communication and promotion campaigns on “la Caixa” Foundation’s social media used by the target public, analysis of the results of the various actions, and proposals for promotion of future editions of the competition.

We designed and developed the website of the ‘Explícame la ciencia’ competition with a responsive design adapted to its target audience.
Digital strategy and web analytics
To publicise the competition and foster participation we launched a YouTube campaign and activated promotional campaigns on CosmoCaixa’s social media, which we complemented with remarketing campaigns and the targeting of similar audiences.
To analyse the results of the first edition we designed a reporting model that studied the KPIs of the project. The analysis focused on assessing the impact of the actions, studying the main sources of the visits and analysing their behaviour.
