New Webpage Conceptualization

Conceptualization and project management of their new website: lleidatur.com. The points of departure were the auditing of the website, documents of internal and sectoral analysis, and previous brainstorming sessions. The project of conceptualization included: functional and architectural documents, definition of functionalities, technical and SEO briefing, creative concept, editorial, website exploitation plan and the guidelines to design a website that let them deeply analyze their statistics (analysis of specific sections, visits per language, visibility of the establishments’ profiles and their offers, visits sent to other websites of the sector, etc.). Moreover, we were in charge of designing the web mobility strategy: responsive design, NFC (Near Field Communication), apps; and the technical consultancy to decide the CMS (Content Management System), web migration protocol, database, etc. The result of the project was a group of documents, some of them to draw up the specs and publish the tender to award the project, and some others were a guide for the web managers in order to create new content for the website (which documents had to be written, how to get them ready for the SEO…). Web Audit

Lleida’s Tourist Board needed to replace its website. It was key in this decision to know if the need was changing the current website or start a new one from zero. To answer this question we audited the current website www.lleidatur.com, both from a technical point of view (SEO, database, etc.), and from the design and usability. The audit project included a strategic analysis of its webpage statistics and focused on the following aspects: Webpage quality control. Detect, analyze, and give instructions to correct website mistakes: pages with 404 errors, broken links, server errors, internal redirections and other quality aspects that we analyzed through Google Webmaster and local indexing Detecting lack of positioning, and creating a new SEO strategy. Detecting communication mistakes and studying if the website was communicating the proper messages to their target. Google Analytics was essential to do so. Detecting indexation mistakes from Google, and suggesting solutions for titles and descriptions on search results. Evaluating the webpage usability and the service offered to users. The result of the auditing project were 4 large documents in which we presented immediate solutions with a low investment, and we also introduced the new website specifications that needed to be developed.

Social Network Promotion

We started working for Diputació de Lleida’s Tourist Board back in 2013. The first project that we developed for them was the audit of their social network promotion: promotion analysis, target analysis and qualitative analysis of the 2.0 channels promoted until that moment. The result of the analysis lead us to set up a social network project of promotion in which our role was to be their strategic social network manager. We chose the content, created the calendar and promoted their Facebook and Twitter accounts, detecting opportunities to launch ad campaigns in both social networks, pic contests on Instagram, and elaborating reports for the people of the Board with quantitative and qualitative analysis. We also did two different analysis reports: achieved results on different social networks, both quantitative and qualitative, including analysis of each type of publication that have a better reception within fans. Analysis of the distribution of publications by region and tourism product, to inform the industry.
